LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN ...

5 Days Tour in Bali, Indonesia.

4:05:00 PM

Denpasar city is also known as Kota Denpasar, the capital city of Bali, Indonesia. The name of Denpasar is comes from the Balinese word "den" which means the north and "pasar" means the market. This name was taken because it’s located just in the north of Kumbasari market.

Even though Bali is famous for honeymoon, but there is a say that if a couple who has not marry travel together to Bali, they will soon broke up. But to believe or not, depends on how superstitious are you :D

We choose to stay in Kuta instead Seminyak as we have driver to drive us around, but after our extended stay in Seminyak, I personally prefer Seminyak more as it's more happening at night with pubs and clubs.

Our trip travel just around south part of the map, cover from Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, and Ubud.

Our 5 days accomodation : Atanaya Hotel

Day 1 - Kuta, free and easy.

Upon our arrivai in Ngurah Rai Aiport, we were greeted by our friendly driver and transferred to our Hotel and have the rest of the day free and easy.

We went out to Kuta Beach to have some seafood dinner, by cab from hotel isn't far, about 10-15 minutes ride.

DAY 2 - Ubud, Kintamani Volcano, Rice Terraces, Coffee & Tea Tasting, Tirta Empul Temple.

Ubud Traditional Market, be sure to bargain as much as you can, but in a not too aggressive way.

Tegallalang Rice Terraces, we were told by our driver that rice terraces are beautiful during rice harvesting season.

While approaching to Kintamani, we had a great lunch buffet with volcano view just beside the restaurant!

After a very fulfill lunch, we were then bring to Coffee Tasting, but for the famous Luwak Coffee, you'll need to pay for a taste! That's how expensive it is ...

Tirta Empul temple is a Hindu Balinese water temple.

DAY 3 - Danau Bratan Bedugul, Strawberry Farm, Nirwana Golf Club, Tanah Lot Temple.

This is the Ulun Danu Temple at Beratan Lake.

While walking out the exit, we found a place where you take picture with this cute little creature, baby owls!

Follow by visiting the Strawberry Farm and have some rest.
We then continue our journey to famous Tanah Lot temple for sunset!

There's a hidden place, whereby it's a private golf club. But our driver is so kind enough to ask for a permission, well not entering the club, but at least, we walk in a further to have a clear view.

We waited at a cafe for the sunset, but too bad, mother-nature isn't showing the beautiful in it that day.

There's a cafe selling Luwak Coffee while walking up to the golf club, and the luwak is free touch even you didn't buy any coffee from them. They're so cute!

This is a MUST TRY pork rib! Long queue at the restaurant, thanks to our lovely driver for such a good recommendation!

DAY 4 - Turtle Island, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran Beach, Uluwatu Temple.

I wouldn't recommend visiting Turtle Island, is quite cruel to see the animals were used to earn money, and really it has nothing special to see except for baby turtles which are well kept as they are too vulnerable.

Nusa Dua, as many as you can see here are all those luxury hotel with their beautiful private beaches.

Worth to walk and see around even though we're not staying in any hotel, there's a blow hole deep down the street.

Jimbaran Beach, a small secluded areas, where tranquility and peace are the perfect antidote to a stressful world.

And last but not least, another sunset at Uluwatu Temple.
Warning : Beware of nasty monkeys, they snap wallets and spectacles!

DAY 5 - Free & Easy, pick up to airport according to your flight time.
