Getting to The Monsant Cafe is easy by public transport if you haven't got any rental car, the bus station to this cafe is name "Han Dam Dong" .(한담동)You don't need to worry if you can't read Korean as every bus will have a screen showing each station name.
From Jeju International Airport :
Take Express City Bus 38 > Transfer at Wolrang Entrance, take Intercity Bus 702, 950, 966 > Take off at Handamdong bus station.
Take Express City Bus 37 > Transfer at Wolrang Elementary School, take Intercity Bus 702, 950, 966 > Take off at Handamdong bus station.
We were staying near Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal, hence we took bus #702 towards Gosan. Don't get to the wrong directions though, its gonna consume up your time.
Bus journey is about 50 minutes, when you get off at Handamdong bus station, there's one road in front on your right, follow the street in until you see the beach, then turn right again and you'll come to this Bomnal Cafe, just walk through a small alley beside this cafe and you'll spot The Monsant Cafe.
Why worth a visit even if you're not a fan of Big Bang? This entire cafe is like a huge piece of art! From the exterior to the interior design, with its perfect location situated in front of the beautiful Handam beach. What more with the exterior large mirror put in a reflection to this whole blue ocean making it looks like a panoramic view!
Even the outside of the cafe will get you so much photos :D You just wouldn't want to stop taking picture! Now let's take a look at the inner part.
We were in Jeju for 3 days, we came here on Day 1, and we came back again on Day 2, just couldn't help, I'm in love with this cafe! And these lights were spotted on Day 2, therefore I am not sure whether it turns on every day as the cafe closed quite early at 7pm. Please bear with my hair, too strong wind on that night! :D
