Art is Play, bringing live by MGM Macau is a colorful art exhibition that will open to the public from 27 June until 9 September 2018. 

The exhibition at MGM Art Space features a journey of “awakening, self-discovery and social interaction” through colorful art installations by five international artists.

These artists include Cindy Ng from Macau, Ayumi Adachi from Japan, ‘tomtom’ from Hong Kong, Camille Walala from the United Kingdom and Janice Wong from Singapore.

MINDSCAPE by Cindy Ng



Play with Dreams, inspired by her memories of childhood in Macau, Cindy Ng uses interactive technology to showcase the unique essence of ink. As you brush through layers of curtains, lose yourself in the light and shadows of this abstract dreamscape.



SETSUNA = 0.013 SECOND by Ayumi Adachi



Play with Abstracts, it only takes one Setsuna, 0.013 seconds, for Ayumi Adachi's work to awaken consciousness. The calming sounds and shadows of this beautiful bubble installation lead you into a meditative state.




ORANGELICIOUS by TomTom



Play with Balloons, enter the yellow and orange wonderland of tomtom's imagination, where vibrant balloons in every size have been carefully selected to inspired joy and happiness. This large-scale installation organically flows, enveloping you in sunshine with every step.




WALALA X PLAY by Camille Walala



Play with Trails, this "temple to wonder" from well known London-based artist Camille Walala invites you to lose yourself in a maze of colors and patterns, zigzags and hallways, mirrors and challenges as you solve the puzzle and unleash your inner child.




SUGAR GLOW GARDEN by Janice Wong



Play with Senses, Janice Wong's edible, interactive art redefines sweets and invites you into a world of imagination. Each of the 20,000 sugar flowers has been hand painted with glowing UV paint to inspired you with different sensations.
